Ashley Toney

Owner and Designer

Ashley's plate is quite full around here at First Fruit Collection. While being the new owner, along with her husband Brandon Toney, and buyer, she continues to design for clients on the side. Ashley began interior design school at Mississippi State. She then, followed her high school sweetheart back to memphis in 2009. With this move, Ashley began her interior design career as a designer for First Fruit Collection. She completed her degree at the University of Memphis with a major in Home Furnishings Merchandising and a minor in Marketing in 2012. As a designer and buyer, Ashley appreciates many styles of decor, which is reflected in her selections of merchandise for First Fruit. However, her personal style can be pin-pointed as transitional mixed with shabby-chic. She loves vintage-inspired pieces while using a neutral and cool-toned color palette.

Carly Gray

Designer

Carly is one of the First Fruit Collection Designers. She graduated the University of Memphis with a major in Home Furnishings Merchandising and a minor in Marketing in 2012. She is an active member of IDS (Interior Design Society). In 2013, Carly was the secretary/treasurer for IDS and in 2014, she held the position of Vice President. Carly loves all things design. She has an eclectic style but loves using rustic elements and pops of color in her designs.

Patricia Michaelis

Patty graduated from Brigham Young University where she studied Home and Family Sciences. Patty is vital to First Fruit Collection's daily operations. She not only helps customers in the store, but she also part of a design team with Ashley. Patty's style is updated French Country. She loves calming spaces with colors of blues, greens, and neutrals. Patty also designs all of our gift card holders, business cards, and all things paper!

Brooke Sparks

Buyer

Brooke is one of the buyers for First Fruit Collection. She brings a traditional French Country style to the store. Brooke studied Public Relations/Communication at Mississippi State University and The University of Memphis. She has always appreciated well designed homes, and has enjoyed dabbling in interior design while being a full-time mom. Once her daughter, Ashley Toney, took over First Fruit Collection, Brooke began helping in the store and going on the buying trips to market. Brooke loves to mix rustic elements with her traditional French Country decor to create a 'lived in'/ relaxed environment.
